RCS Pinellas
The mission of RCS Pinellas is to feed the hungry, help families facing homelessness return to self sufficiency, and empower survivors of domestic violence. In carrying out the mission through staff and nearly 2,500 volunteers, RCS Pinellas serves approximately 130,000 people annually. RCS Food Bank distributes nearly 5 million pounds of food each year to individuals/families and nearly 100 additional food pantries throughout Pinellas County. RCS Grace House provides apartment style shelter to homeless families, along with all of life’s necessities, maximizing their chances to reach independence.
The Haven of RCS is a certified Domestic Violence Center that empowers victims by offering emergency shelter, legal advocacy, individual & group support, preventative education and more. The Haven of RCS reaches nearly 15,000 annually.
RCS affordable housing provides affordable apartment units to 11 families, who pay approximately 30% of their income in rent.
RCS also provides for basic needs, including clothing and household items through our thrift store partnership with local thrift stores and assistance with rent and utility payments.
