Vision
Founded in 2019, RapDev (Rapid Development) has evolved from a boutique consultancy focused on small DevOps transformation projects to a leading service partner for ServiceNow and Datadog. After implementing both platforms at Wayfair, RapDev founder Tameem Hourani recognized the need for a service partner to large organizations that understood not just ServiceNow and Datadog, but the full breadth of modern cloud technologies as well. The result is a company focused on agile iteration and customer-centric problem-solving.
Mission
RapDev helps organizations release software faster and improve service availability by expertly guiding ServiceNow and Datadog implementations. We believe in customer-centric relationships built on transparency, flexibility, and innovative problem-solving.
Additional Culture Details
Our founder didn’t develop RapDev alone. When the company was just becoming a reality, it was three people working together to gain customers while also producing the best work possible. As the demand grew, the team had to expand while taking care to preserve the teamwork element, the company’s defining culture. RapDev is the perfect blend of engineering and people-centric culture. While good culture does not make up for legacy engineering skill sets, great engineers need a healthy workplace. We approach our culture with this mindset; mistakes made by engineers are not a result of bad engineering, but rather the result of a system that is not resilient enough. Nobody wakes up thinking “today is a great day to crash our systems.” Mistakes happen and engineers will always have an element of human error. Instead of mistakes becoming career-limiting, we take them as an opportunity to discuss how we can build a long-term solution. We use mistakes as a way to identify points where we can only get stronger.

We are consultants and field experts with engineering at our core, dedicating our skills and experience to help our customers expand and evolve their technological investments in the ServiceNow and Datadog platforms. We have to always push the boundaries of our solution designs and recommendations to ensure we don’t settle only for what the customer is asking of us, but instead, guide them towards what is best for them in long term. We should always innovate for our customers, and make sure we provide engineering suggestions beyond what they know the platforms are capable of. We are not in the business of forcing customers to be stuck with us. We earn our business and trust by delivering great engineering work and letting the customer choose to continue partnering with us. We should always be proud of the work we do.
