The firm grew into one of the nation’s largest independent brokerages before acquiring Christie’s International Real Estate in 2021. That same year, Alexander Real Estate partners Eric Walstrom and Alex Irrer saw an opportunity to grow SE Michigan's #1 brokerage firm. Combining local ownership with a globally recognized luxury brand, Alexander Real Estate became @properties Christie’s International Real Estate.

Since 2000, @properties has grown from a four-person boutique company to one of the top 10 brokerage firms in the nation. And we’ve taken our technology, marketing, training, and culture across the country with the launch of our franchise brand. While the company has grown, @properties maintains its entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative environment, and commitment to delivering the very best experience in local real estate.
