Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate, comprehensive care. Serving eight counties in North Central Iowa, we provide a broad spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services, including substance use treatment for co-occurring disorders, mental health therapy, and problem gambling treatment and prevention—supporting individuals of all ages on their path to wellness.
Our story began over 50 years ago with a small but passionate group of community members who saw an urgent need to support those struggling with chronic alcoholism. Their commitment laid the foundation for our mission: to provide accessible, patient-centered, and cost-effective care that empowers individuals and strengthens communities.
As a deeply rooted, community-based organization, we have built extensive outreach networks and partnerships to ensure our services are welcoming, convenient, and easy to access. We recognize the unique challenges of geographic barriers and individual treatment needs, and we continually innovate to make high-quality care available to all. Over the decades, our dedication has made us a trusted provider, preferred by patients and referral sources alike, as we continue to uphold our unwavering commitment to whole-person healing.
