Portland Rescue Mission
Since 1949, Portland Rescue Mission has been tirelessly committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and despair in the lives of hurting people in need. This is done by a group of highly relational, Christ-centered, joyful servants comprised of 90 staff and 887 volunteers who shine a light in the city of Portland, Oregon.
Purpose
We exist to transform the lives of people experiencing homelessness or addiction by sharing the Word of God and demonstrating the love of Christ.
Vision
We are dedicated to breaking the cycles of homelessness, addiction, and trauma through trusted relationships, healthy communities, and a deep reliance on God—restoring hope one life at a time.
