Values
- DEI
- 1. Acknowledgement – We acknowledge that inequities exist in our community in regard to race, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, political affiliation, and other personal characteristics.
2. Commitment – We commit to taking respectful action when we see these inequities by making the individuals aware of the inequity and inviting them to join us for change.
3. Openness – We listen intently to the views of others without judgment.
4. Celebration – We approach others with a genuine desire to learn about cultural views other than our own so that we may expand our understanding.
5. Humility – We ask others to tell us about their culture and personal characteristics rather than making assumptions based on generalizations or things we have heard about that culture from others.
