Pessin Katz Law, P.A. (PK Law) was founded in 1988 as a small estate planning firm. The firm moved to its current 901 Dulaney Valley Road office in 1993, and has grown over the years into the largest law firm headquartered in Baltimore County and the seventh largest law firm in the Baltimore region.
In addition to having one of the preeminent estate planning practices in the state, PK Law offers a full breadth of legal services including Corporate and Real Estate, Education, Labor and Employment, Elder Law, General Litigation, Insurance Defense and Medical Malpractice Defense to clients across the state, the District of Columbia and the Mid-Atlantic region.

As a workplace, PK Law has worked hard to establish and maintain a culture of professionalism, diversity, community, growth, pride, appreciation, philanthropy, work-life balance and fun. The firm has repeatedly been selected as a Baltimore Sun Top 100 Workplaces and a Baltimore Business Journal Best Place to Work Finalist and is proud of that. As part of its most recent office renovation, the firm built the PK Law Café where attorneys and employees gather for morning coffee, lunch, happy hour and firm events. Organized by the PK Law Fun Committee, the firm regularly engages in fun activities including outings to O’s games, karaoke night, bowling, paint night, pumpkin decorating, garage top barbeques, corn hole games and ice cream socials. The firm also participates in firm sponsored community service activities such as the annual Food Box Program, Dress for Success, Toys for Tots and back to school supply drives. The success of these efforts can be seen in the numbers: 52% of the firm employees have been with PK Law for five years or more, 44% for 10 years or more and 20 PK Law employees have been with the firm for 20 years or more. In addition, 12 of the firm's 26 Members are women or persons of color and three of the firm's five main practice groups are chaired by women.
