Northeastern Counseling Center
Northeastern Counseling Center is located in Northeastern Utah and was established in 1997. The agency was formerly known as Uintah Basin Counseling and has been providing services to the citizens of the Uintah Basin since the mid-eighties. We provide outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services to the residents of Uintah, Duchesne and Daggett Counties.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, accessible, affordable human services to the residents of our tri-county area. We strive to help those with mental health, emotional, or substance use disorders overcome their challenges and become healthy, functioning members of society.

Additional Culture Details
When employees were asked one of the biggest benefits of working at Northeastern Counseling Center, most of them stated that it was the culture and the good people they work with. This is saying something when you consider the rich benefits we have available to employees! We strive to create a culture of a family-friendly environment with family activities designed to foster positive relationships and time for our employee’s families to spend time together. We have organized family activities in the summer such as BBQ’s, runs and hikes along with physical activity challenges for spouses and family members of NCC employees. NCC understands the importance of a healthy balance in family and work life and strives to be aware of this and contribute positively to it.
