Founded in 1908, The Northeastern Association of the Blind of the Blind at Albany, Inc.(NABA) is a not-for profit, community-based agency that provides rehabilitation services and support to blind and visually impaired people helping them to achieve independence and growth. NABA provides services in fourteen counties including: Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Dutchess, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Sullivan, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties.
In addition to rehabilitation services, NABA also provides employment for people who are blind through our manufacturing department and through placement services in the community. By creating employment opportunities for people who are blind, NABA is helping to build confidence and self-sufficiency.
Through a combination of services and employment, NABA is helping blind and visually impaired individual take care of themselves, their families and remain productive members of society.
