Additional Culture Details
Northcrest's culture is one of inclusiveness and respect - respect for residents, families and staff. The culture of family is mutually felt by residents and staff and also by visitors who so often comment after a tour, that "it just feels different here". It's not a tangible thing but it's a feeling that permeates our existence at Northcrest. When staff leave at the end of the day, we know that we have made a difference in the lives of the people we serve and that's pretty awesome. We have Baby Boomers and Millennials working together to create a place called home. We joyously celebrate the accomplishments of staff and this year recognized several 20 year employees a 30 year employee and a 35 year employee. Northcrest residents demonstrate their gratitude to staff with an annual Christmas party that is completely resident driven. The residents prepare and serve a glorious assortment of treats along with a monetary gift to the staff and it is a joyous time to see staff and residents interacting.
