Noramco, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson Company

Noramco, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company, was formed in 1979 to design, construct and manage a bulk active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) plant in Wilmington, Delaware to support Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical's Tylenol with codeine business. With the acquisition of Tasmanian Alkaloids and addition of the Athens, Georgia site in 1982, and continuous expansions over the past three decades at both US facilities, Noramco now contributes to billion dollar affiliate franchises, as well as to significant 3rd party generic and branded pharmaceutical products worldwide.
Our Credo, written by General Robert Wood Johnson in 1943 outlines our responsibilities to our customers, employees, the community and shareholders. Our Credo serves as a strategic and moral compass for all employees of J&J. Noramco's Mission is to be the preferred supplier of API's, Narcotics, and Medical Device raw materials to new and existing customers.
