New Horizons Rehabilitation Services, Inc. has been providing job training and job placement programs and services to adults with disabilities for over 55 years. New Horizons is an accredited, not-for-profit organization that helps people with disabilities achieve their vocational goals through personalized employment programs.
One of the primary goals of New Horizons is to place individuals into competitive employment. Just this past year, New Horizons was able to place 659 individuals into competitive employment. This success is attributed to New Horizon’s partnerships with local businesses, who understand that a job provides more than a paycheck; it brings respect, dignity, and an opportunity to make the lives of individuals with disabilities meaningful and productive.

Purpose
The goal of this agency is to enable persons served to achieve a greater degree of social and vocational independence by providing programs and services which promote full community access. Our objective is to provide programs and services in which we offer choice and options based on the individual needs of the person served. We believe that by providing a conducive environment and using individualized methods of instruction, persons with disabilities can learn appropriate sets of social skills, work behaviors, and specific work skills. We are committed to the “Employment First” philosophy for individuals to seek employment and to work in competitive integrated settings and engage in community life. We promote and advocate that services be integrated in and support full access to the community.
