Purpose
The Supreme Court is the state's highest court and its primary responsibility is to review and rule on appeals from District Court cases. The Court is supported by lawyers, law clerks, specialized administrative and program staff, and chambers assistants.
The Administrative Office of the Courts strives to be an influential and respected voice for the Nevada Judiciary. The AOC acts to support the Chief Justice in fulfilling his or her constitutional responsibility to be the administrative head of the Branch.
