I feel genuinely cared for. Not just by my supervisor - though he is extremely supportive - but also by everyone in the office. Everyone is intentional with their relationships, kind, inclusive, and hardworking. We strive for excellence in all aspects of our work at NEI and I'm emphatically blessed to be a part of such a wonderful company.

I feel free to express my ideas and opinions and that they'll be met with listening ears and intelligent feedback. I can tell employees genuinely care about each other's and NEI's well being. People are generally striving to be their best selves and lift each other up. There's a great balance of social enjoyment/joking vs constructive brainstorming/conversation. I have a strong feeling that one day soon NEI will be exponentially larger and maybe even an industry leader. I've only worked for one other engineering consulting firm, but NEI feels so much better in every direction.

NEI operates under a set of core values that go far and above any other company I"ve worked for. The people are ALL great to work with and to have as friends. The work is challenging and engaging, and the variety of projects ensures that boredom never sets in.

I've only been at NEI for a few weeks, but it has been a very positive experience so far. The variety of work keeps it interesting, and the people are so friendly and willing to reach out and help whenever they can. The entire team, right up to the executives and the CEO, are right there and make it feel more like a family than a group of co-workers.

It provides me the freedom to work the way I want to where I want to. The work itself serves a crucial function. I like working in power engineering, it's such an important thing for peoples every day lives and the way we do it matters in the context of global warming. This job also improves my competence tremendously.

The work I do on projects is meaningful and pushes me to learn more. I enjoy being able to see that my work is valued and appreciated. I also feel like my managers do an excellent job making sure the team is not overloaded and that everyone is working on appropriate parts of projects. I also feel like my manager gives me a good balance projects that are within my skillset and ones that push me to learn.

I am able to operate independent when needed but have a deep bench of team members willing to help if and when I need it. For the most part we have a very capable and competent team across all disciplines of the company. I was given the chance to invest in what I believe in.

I have the freedom of not being tied to a desk. If I need to schedule an appointment or attend class in the middle of the day, my supervisor has always been willing to work around that. NEI allows me to have the engineering life that I always wanted but wasn't aware of it.

NEI is led by a team of awesome leaders that drive a strong culture. Company direction and TM expectations are clearly communicated. Projects are interesting and workload is well-managed.

I'm trusted to make decisions. There are a lot of things that need to be more organized and I'm trusted to make those changes instead of micromanaged and questioned at every turn.

NEI has an awesome work culture; the work itself is fun and engaging, but the people I work with are some of the best that I've ever been able to work with.

Additionally my supervisor provides me with bandwidth to get out of my comfort zone with these projects but checks in regularly to ensure I am comfortable and provide coaching opportunities as appropriate without being over bearing.

My opinion, thoughts, ideas, experience & knowledge basis is respected. NEi has a wealth of individuals with extensive education and work experiences to draw from and collaborate with. I can work 100% from home and feel fully supported. I feel I am well paid with great benefits.

I feel I am allowed to work to my full potential all while feeling appreciated and welcomed. I know I am doing great work for a company who cares more for their employees than for the right numbers (# of projects, $ value of projects, exceeding KPI's).

I have felt like an important member of my team and department since day one. I feel heard and that my concerns are never swept aside. Having the ability to work remotely and the flexibility works so well because NEI has so many efficient ways for communications to reach me I don't feel excluded from events or announcements. I absolutely made the right decision when I accepted role here (started recently) and am extremely impressed with the smoothness and organization of my orientation and on-boarding and training.

I am given the flexibility of my work-life balance that is very necessary for all people in the work force. I'm challenged by the work I do, encouraged by my team, and supported by my supervisor.

I receive the support I need from the entire NEI staff to be successful. My Team Lead and Director have provided me with support I did not expect. Generally, it seems all NEI staff wants all team members to be successful.
