Founded in 2009, Nehemiah Manufacturing is a consumer products company focusing on baby/toddler care & fabric care. We manufacture, market & sell the following product lines; Kandoo Flushable wipes, Boogie wipes for runny toddler noses, Downy Wrinkle Releaser®, Downy Fabric Softener Ball®, Febreze In Wash Laundry Odor Eliminator®, Tide Single Use Pouch® & Dreft Stain Remover®, Dreft Fabric Odor Eliminator®, Dreft All Purpose Wipes®, & Dreft All Purpose Cleaner®. The fabric care lines (Downy, Febreze, Tide and Dreft) are all managed under a license from the Proctor & Gamble Co. Nehemiah manufactures the majority of products in our 182,000 sq foot headquarters. Across all of our brands, we ship over 20MM units annually to our retail customers from our distribution center. Our products can be found in almost every major retailer in the country & Canada including Walmart, Target, Kroger, Walgreens, Rite Aid, & CVS. Nehemiah is also proud to share that we have brought over 6 MM units back from the Far East to be manufactured in USA. Nehemiah is a purpose driven co. focused on building a profitable business that will bring employment, investment & hope to inner-city. Purpose
Nehemiah’s purpose is not only to build brands but also create jobs. The jobs we are creating are primarily slated for individuals who have struggled in the past with a history of substance abuse, homelessness, and/or criminal record and are now attempting to re-enter society as a productive member.
Vision
Nehemiah is committed to bringing manufacturing jobs back to the inner city of Cincinnati to stimulate community development and economic growth. We worked closely with the City of Cincinnati, community leaders and social service organizations to select our location in the West End / Over-The-Rhine area of Cincinnati. Our location is surrounded by neighborhoods with high unemployment and limited entry-level job opportunities.

Nehemiah’s purpose is not only to build brands but also create jobs. The jobs we are creating are primarily slated for individuals who have struggled in the past with a criminal record and are now attempting to re-enter society as a productive member. We employ 3 full time social service workers to support our staff as they grow and develop into productive citizens. We are proud supporters of a number of local agencies such as Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services, Jobs Plus, Cincinnati Works, CityLink Center and Ohio Justice and Policy Center.
