The purpose of Mozaic Senior Life is to provide high-quality health care, housing, and community services to seniors, helping them achieve the highest possible quality of life. This is done in a manner consistent with Jewish values and traditions. The organization aims to support individuals and families by offering a range of services that reflect a person-centered philosophy, fostering commitment with a customized care plan to meet individual needs. The vision of Mozaic Senior Life is to be the premier senior living and community service provider in Southern Connecticut, and the first choice resource recommended by professionals and community members to seniors and their families. This vision is guided by their commitment to providing high-quality care and services that enable seniors to live fully as they age.

Mozaic Senior Life also values education and continuous learning. The organization partners with area hospitals and universities to train students and nurses, and its clinical staff receives ongoing education to ensure they are providing the highest possible quality of care. The organization also values community and volunteerism. Over 300 men and women volunteer their time and efforts at Mozaic Senior Life, enhancing the quality of life and building meaningful relationships with Residents.
In terms of religious observances, food prepared in Mozaic Jewish Home is kosher style, and they offer a kosher Household (Kaufman). The Berkowitz Family Courtyard Café is strictly kosher. Kosher certification is through New England Kosher, Rabbi Mayer Abramowitz with approval of Vaad HaKashrus of Connecticut. On-site rabbinical training programs are established with Yeshiva University and The Jewish Theological Seminary, Shabbat, and Holiday services are held in their beautiful synagogue and near Resident Households, enabling spiritual involvement for all.
