Additional Culture Details
We believe in supporting our employees, clients and community. We strive to develop a culture that encourages and enables our staff to achieve work/life balance, professional and personal achievements, participation in firm growth and philanthropic participation.
We make sure we have multiple events each month at the office and outside the office to encourage social interaction and health competition. Some of the many things we do are holiday parties and costume contests, monthly ice cream truck, Beer Cart Fridays, Easter egg hunts, March madness brackets and football pools, catered lunches through the year and free lunches every week during busy season. We also have paintball tournaments, go cart racing, UCF tailgating, group outings to sporting and arts events. We also provide healthy snacks and drinks in the office and lunch n learns on nutrition and wellness.
We host many functions for the entire family including annual ski/pool party with swimming, wake boarding/tubing, karaoke, food/drinks and games. We also share tickets for local sporting events, art performances and attractions.
We promote personal and professional achievements by providing tuition assistance/reimbursement, CPA exam review course-a $2,500 value, paid time off to sit for the CPA exam, bonus for passing the exam and license fees. We also have annual career paths, technical/soft skills/leadership training, mentoring/job shadowing, employee of the month and annual awards.
We believe everyone in the firm plays a role in our success. We have meetings outside the office to promote open communication, 360-degree performance reviews on all levels and a Millennial Shark Tank committee to brainstorm innovative and forward thinking ideas for our offices.
In addition to investing in our employees, we feel it is important to support our clients and our community. We promote our employees to volunteer in our community ans offer paid time off to do so. We sponsor, participate and attend multiple events including corporate 5ks and Jingle Bell Walk (Arthritis Foundation), Bowl-a-thon/Fundraising (Junior Achievement), various golf tournaments and sponsorships. We also participate and sponsor events with the UCF Student Accounting Society and Beta Alpha Psi. In addition, we also have several members on the UCF Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting Advisory Board. We also are proud to say we have over 3,500 hours of volunteer hours and have donated over $25,000 of cash contributions to local agencies.
