MicroHealth
During their time together in the United States Army, MicroHealth Founders Dr. Frank Tucker (Major Ret.) and Claude Hines (Colonel Ret.) helped introduce electronic health records to the battlefield during the Iraq War. Claude’s contracting expertise and IT program management knowledge combined with Frank’s Physician’s Assistant background and experience with medical systems helped to improve Military Health IT. Later as acquisition program managers for the Department of Defense, they discovered that their greatest frustrations came from the inability of IT vendors to understand technology in a clinical environment, which had a detrimental effect on the usability of these systems. MicroHealth was founded to address this issue, and it started with a vision - to put the “Health” back into Health IT. We leverage our cadre of professionals, many of whom are former healthcare practitioners, to support our customers in overcoming today’s Health IT challenges.
