Meridien Research provides patients and families in the Tampa Bay area an opportunity to take part in clinical research trials for a wide variety of medical conditions. These research trials are usually offered at Unitversity or large research institutions, but with offices in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Brooksville & Bradenton, area residents can have access to the latest in medical research without leaving home. Research participants undergo careful evaluation by study physicians and are closely followed by the medical staff. There is never a charge to the participant as the cost of medical research is paid for by the pharmaceutical company that sponsors the research program. Medical research is an important part of finding new treatments for medical conditions.
