Mercy Memorial Hospital System (MMHS) is an integrated not-for-profit health care provider. The MMHS network of care begins at Mercy Memorial Hospital and extends to Macomb Pharmacy, Hospice of Monroe, HomeCare Connection, Home Respiratory Care, outpatient rehabilitation services, Outpatient Surgery Center, outreach labs and primary and specialty physician offices. MMHS earned The Joint Commission’s 3-year Gold Seal of Accreditation: the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer 3-year Accreditation for its treatment program; and accreditation of the Sleep Disorders Center by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. MMHS continually invests in technology and services to enhance the level of care available in Monroe County. In the area of quality and safety initiatives, MMHS reached the 6-year mark without experiencing a ventilator acquired pneumonia in the ICU and received national recognition for its OB Department's work using the Comprehensive Unit-based Safety methodology.
