Marian University is an institution of higher education, established in Indianapolis in 1937 by the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg, Indiana. Located 10 minutes northwest of downtown Indianapolis, the university is home to the Leighton School of Nursing, Byrum School of Business, School of Mathematics and Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, Educators College, College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Academy for Teaching and Learning Leadership, was named one of the top 10 schools in Indiana by the Wall Street Journal and #1 in Indianapolis in Money magazine’s list of Top Schools for Your Money.
