Started by Peter Karmanos, Jr—the founder and former Chairman and CEO of technology-giant Compuware Corporation—MadDog Technology is a venture capital firm investing in companies that develop and market cloud-based business applications that disrupt existing industry models and help monetize underutilized information. Our goal is to invest in and help develop a series of successful technology-based businesses.
Our venture operator model comprises the key business components needed to drive the success of our portfolio companies and reduce risk. These include experienced executive leadership, talented software engineers, veteran sales leadership, expansive marketing expertise, skilled product and project management professionals, and other key knowledge areas such as legal, accounting, human resources, recruiting and others.
