Lovelace Westside Hospital
For nearly 30 years, Lovelace Westside Hospital has been committed to offering Rio Rancho and Westside residents the latest in cutting-edge technology and high-quality care.
In the spring of 2012, Lovelace Westside Hospital opened the only Inpatient Pediatric Unit servicing Rio Rancho and Westside Albuquerque. This unit features private rooms with family-friendly amenities, such as in-room sleeping accommodations for a guest and wireless internet access. The Inpatient Pediatric Unit has coverage 24 hours a day, seven days week with board-certified pediatric hospitalists.
The hospital features a Birthing Center, which includes 24/7 anesthesiology coverage, an OB surgical suite for C-sections and a lactation program.
In recent years, the hospital has undergone a significant remodel and has added new services, including the Westside’s first 64-slice CT scanner, digital mammography and new MRI capability. The hospital also has a surgical weight loss program, offering an effective option for individuals whose weight increases the risk for health problems or causes a decreased quality of life.
