Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is an independent, family-owned restaurant group based in Chicago that owns, manages and licenses more than 100 restaurants and counting. We were founded when Richard Melman and Jerry A. Orzoff opened R.J. Grunts in 1971. Today, thanks to the creativity and dedication of our 92 partners and over 8,200 team members, we proudly serve guests at more than 50 restaurant concepts ranging from fast casual to fine dining in Illinois, Florida, Minnesota, Maryland, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington D.C.
