We cut through life's red tape by creating experiences that speak in life terms, not legal ones. To succeed at this, we must keep our promise close to our hearts in everything we do.

Ask anyone what’s the best thing about working at LegalZoom and you’ll always hear how amazing the people are. We have a relaxed culture and we truly enjoy spending time together, celebrating holidays, birthdays, and team successes — and sometimes just because.
Each October the entire office comes alive with creativity and competition during Zoomerween! There are costume contests and teams get a budget to decorate their office area in whatever theme they choose – you’ll see everything from scary to clever to just plain hilarious. Not long after Zoomerween wraps up it's time for the company-wide Thanksgiving potluck. We gather to enjoy an amazing meal and express gratitude for the people and things we appreciate. We also have employee appreciation events during the year and are always recognizing people that go above and beyond.
It's pretty common to finish out your work day and walk into our cafe to find a casino night, trivia game, karaoke stage, or a full-fledged battle of the bands going on! For those that aren't musicians but love to play basketball, softball, soccer, or golf, there’s a team or a tournament for you! Maybe you're an avid gamer? Yep, there’s a tournament for you too. In fact, we even have gaming consoles to enjoy in our break area. And don't forget the ping pong tables!
We’re very much an employee-driven organization. In fact, we have groups for all sorts of areas of interest, most of which were created simply because an employee was passionate about something. We have the Diversity & Inclusion Alliance, Women’s Leadership Guild, and Gratitude and Service committees, just to name a few. No matter what you’re into, there’s a way to enjoy it here. And if there isn’t, maybe it’s time to start something new!
A core part of what we do is help customers launch their businesses – and we have a bunch of entrepreneurs in our ranks. From gift baskets to beard oils, you’re always meeting co-workers that have interesting hobbies.
Not only do the people who work at LegalZoom feel encouraged to explore their passions and areas of interest, they have lots of opportunities to pursue their career. Whether they want to climb the ladder within their department and move into a leadership role or explore a completely different career path, employees are encouraged to find their own way to happiness and success.
