Klamath Basin Behavioral Health is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and serves as the Community Mental Health Program and Local Mental Health Authority in Klamath County. From prenatal prevention programs to specialized older adult services, our service array spans all ages, and is led by a team of professionals who are passionate about access to mental health care, freedom from addiction, and building healthy families. We take an integrated approach to behavioral health with an emphasis on 24-hour crisis services, evidence-based mental health and substance abuse treatments, care coordination, integration with physical care, and providing services in community-based settings whenever possible. Our services are trauma-informed and are individualized to meet the unique needs of each person. Services are delivered by experts with a sincere desire to help.
Purpose
We believe in a dignified, trauma-informed, and consumer-centered approach to behavioral health care. Our clinical team focuses on individual needs and customizes an evidence-based treatment plan designed to improve quality of life for our consumers and their families. Our programs for children emphasize a family-directed approach to treatment because we recognize that a child’s most significant influences, interactions, relationships, and supports lie within their own family. Evidence shows that the strongest behavioral health outcomes are achieved within a collaborative team model. Our goal is to create a treatment climate that encourages engagement from family members and service providers. Our consumer-driven pathways of care model unifies teams of providers who join forces to empower each consumer to achieve independence and success.
