The Kidney Institute was started by Milwaukee Nephrologists and other business professionals to provide education, support and state of the art dialysis treatments to people diagnosed with kidney disease. Our unique design sets us apart from the other units in the area. It fosters open dialogue between the client and their health care team while maintaining privacy and comfort to the client. Compassionate and caring staff work as a team to insure all our clients needs are met. Cable TV, WIFI and visits from "Sassy" our pet therapy dog help patients pass the time while on dialysis. We strive to help patients maintain their independence, travel, continue to work, attend school or just enjoy their retirement. We currently offer hemodialysis with early morning or late shift availability to accommodate our clients various schedules. Peritoneal and home hemodialysis are offered through our sister units. Nocturnal dialysis will be offered soon.
