The firm represents community associations including condominiums, homeowner associations, recreation associations, planned unit developments, cooperatives, and master associations throughout Ohio. The smallest association we represent has 4 units and the largest has over 2400. Sales prices of these homes range from $20,000 to in excess of $10,000,000. We handle every aspect of a community association's legal needs.
Purpose
We recognize that we do not just represent clients; we represent communities, and every association is first and foremost a community. Rather than seeking legal counsel after an association is in trouble, we provide education for board members to prevent problems. In other words, just like you go to the doctor for regular checkups for preventative medicine, we practice preventative law. We believe that our primary responsibility is to help keep our community association clients out of legal trouble. To achieve that responsibility, we recognize that it takes a team of people working together to run successful community associations. Our lawyers work together with all association advisors including managers, management companies, engineers, insurance agents, and accountants to assist community associations to operate efficiently and consistently.

Mission
Because all we do is represent Ohio condominium and homeowner associations, our mission is built on providing comprehensive education and representation to avoid litigation. To achieve this, we work together, staff, paralegals, and attorneys alike to collaborate on client issues and resolve them by team effort instead of individual effort.
Additional Culture Details
Our firm strives for a work life balance. We work hard and we play hard. Following our mission of collaboration among our staff, paralegals, and attorneys, on client-related issues, we hold regular "decompression sessions" where we all join together and discuss challenges a client faced and how they were resolved. Our success and that which separates our firm from others is the effort that we put into collaboration opportunities. Our office contains a "learning center" where we not only hold training sessions for our employees, but where everyone in the firm attempts to join together at about the same time each day for lunch. In addition, we use this learning center to get together monthly to celebrate work anniversaries of our team members. Currently, we have over 16 employees who have been with the firm for over 10 years and we also hold a black-tie dinner every year for our "10 Year Club" members.
