Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS) is an independent 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support people throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area through life's changes and challenges by providing psychological, employment and social services, regardless of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, place of birth, sex, sexual orientation, familial status, age, handicap or disability.

JFCS exists to help generally marginalized people improve their lives by providing needed services.

Mission
Jewish Family and Community Services exists to help people through life's changes and challenges by providing exceptional psychological, employment and social service programs. Services are provided and referrals are made without regard to race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, place of birth, sex, sexual orientation, familial status, age, handicap or disability.
Additional Culture Details
JFCS has a casual, warm and welcoming atmosphere, bolstered by close relationships and camaraderie among the staff. There is a distinct respect for diversity and inclusion. Management is sensitive to the understanding that staff have lives and needs, and there is flexibility in resolving problems. The staff share a deep commitment to service and to the people who we help.
