Established in 1954, the Foundation helps benefit practitioners gain essential skills, stay compliant and create informed strategies through in-person virtual, and customized conferences and training, webcasts, e-learning courses, and original research on trending employee benefits-related topics.

The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans is the premier educational organization dedicated to providing the diverse employee benefits community with objective, solution-oriented education, research and information to ensure the health and financial security of plan beneficiaries worldwide.

Tucked in a wooded, park-like 15-acre campus in Brookfield, Wisconsin, over 130 employees call the Foundation their work home. Employees enjoy a hybrid schedule with time spent both working from home and at headquarters. When at the office, staff spend a lot of time together—from bocce ball tournaments in the front lawn and walks through the woods, to morning yoga or mindfulness sessions at the organization’s onsite Wellness Center studio. Long Wisconsin winters are passed with fun lunchtime activities like cribbage and book clubs. Staff at the Foundation come together in support of the organization’s mission by cultivating a core group of values. Employees show genuine concern for each other’s well-being and success, seeking out all perspectives in a way that’s respectful of differing personal opinions.
