Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners
Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) is a human service nonprofit that strengthens our community by meeting basic needs and equipping individuals and families for ongoing stability. IOCP delivers integrated services that address basic needs like food and clothing, while also equipping individuals and families for stability with connections to affordable housing, quality childcare, and living-wage jobs.
Purpose
We exist to be the community’s safety net, offering flexible, relationship based support and referrals during times of crisis and transition. Funded by community support rather than government programs, we are able to respond to needs that don’t fit neatly within public systems and help people move toward stability. Internally, we’re shaped by the values of collaboration, inclusion, and integrity to ensure our work is done with compassion and makes an impact.
Vision
To build a vibrant community where everyone counts and all sectors and systems work together for the good of all.
Mission
To strengthen our community by meeting basic needs and equipping individuals and families for ongoing stability.
Additional Culture Details
Our staff are deeply mission focused and supported by their teams in balancing care for others with care for themselves. We operate in a hybrid work environment and are intentional about how we use time together to build connection and trust across the organization. We emphasize continuous personal and professional development, supporting staff growth in areas such as intercultural competence, wellness, nutrition, and personal finance.
Our culture values trust, flexibility, and professional judgment, which are essential in community based work that often involves complex situations. We foster a culture of shared learning across teams, with staff intentionally seeking to understand one another’s roles and perspectives. In particular, fundraising and administrative teams regularly learn from client services staff to stay grounded in emerging needs, trends, and lived experiences within the community.
We are grateful to work together and to support one another in this work.
