Since the 1970's, InterCommunity Inc. has grown, thrived and become one of the Hartford area’s key providers for adults and children. InterCommunity operates a primary medical care practice and has transformed itself from a community-based behavioral health care provider to a community-based, comprehensive, integrated primary care organization. InterCommunity is a Federally Qualified Health Center Look Alike (FQHC LA). InterCommunity services the Greater Hartford region out of 17 locations.

Vision
InterCommunity envisions a leadership role in the provision of integrated primary, behavioral and addiction health care services. We assume a strong advocacy role to meet these challenges facing Connecticut. InterCommunity will foster and promote collaborative relationships and will develop partnerships with local, state and federal public health service organizations and the community in general to enhance the quality of the delivery systems of comprehensive integrated health care and will strive for excellence with a highly trained staff and governing board.
