Purpose
HPA/LiveWell has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2022 honor by The Times Union Top Workplaces!
The lingering COVID-19 pandemic thrust the nation’s mental health crisis into the spotlight. The pandemic– and the economic and social upheaval that followed – exacerbated the symptoms of many already struggling with great stress, worry, and panic.
Dr. Julie Morison, founder and program director at HPA/LiveWell says, “As clinicians, we’re not normally coping alongside our patients. It has been a unique situation to navigate such great uncertainties together.”
At HPA/LiveWell, our goal is to offer respectful, personalized mental health care services to the community while also creating a work environment that supports and fosters the personal and professional growth of our clinicians and staff. While much of the world distanced itself over the last two years, we have grown closer as a team.
Dr. Morison says, “All of us can fall apart sometimes. Life is hard. But as we tell our patients, it’s about resiliency. When you get knocked down, it’s about figuring out how to bounce back up. Our day-to-day role as the helpers requires a huge team effort. For us to be strong for our patients, we need to be strong as a team. We've seen the results; life and work are better together!"
