In 2024, Housing Assistance is proudly celebrating 50 years as an integral part of the Cape and Islands community. As the region has evolved, so has our
organization. We started as a rental voucher agency in 1974; today we have a staff of 120 and offer a range of services and programs that bridge the
wide gap between homelessness and homeownership. Our work seeks to elevate the Cape and Islands economy and community, empower residents of
all ages and income levels, and address the root causes of our housing crisis.

For 50 years, Housing Assistance has provided essential services and solutions for low- and middle-income households on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard
