Helping Hands School
Helping Hands School is a nonprofit preschool program for children from age two through age five. We provide services to children of all abilities. Helping Hands provides special education services to children in the Capital Region of New York. The goal of Helping Hands School is to meet the individual needs of each child and to foster readiness skills to maximize success in public school. We recognize that parents and families are the most important people in the lives of their children and works closely with them through the early years. Services available include comprehensive evaluations, integrated and self-contained classroom options, special education itinerant teacher services and intensive program options for children with a diagnosis along the autistic spectrum. Related services including speech/language, occupational and physical therapies as well as social work intervention are available. A nursery school program for typically developing children is also offered.
