Heart of Florida United Way (HFUW) stands up for the health, education and financial stability of every person in Central Florida, primarily the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population. HFUW is the region’s most comprehensive health and human services charity and the largest provider of funds to these programs. HFUW is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, financial stability, health and basic needs. It operates the 211 Information & Referral Crisis Line; Mission United; Destination Graduation; Volunteer Resource Center; the Ryan White Part B & GR Program, which provides $ 2.6 million in HIV/AIDS support. HFUW impacts more than 495,000 individuals annually through its direct service and funded programs. United Way partners with local businesses, government other charities to increase awareness, inspire hope, provide options and create possibilities for people in need.
