Our mission statement, “Haven House seeks to improve and elevate the independence of individuals having mental illness while supporting recovery and enhancing quality of life” is supported in our everyday practices. We have 5 distinct programs providing support to individuals with a mental health diagnosis. Outpatient services include medication management, individual and group therapy, injections and nursing appointments. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services provides a skills-based program in a group setting designed to increase life skills and independence or one-on-one in the community. The Wellness Recovery Team is a community-based program that bridges the gap in services for individuals with both chronic physical health and behavioral health concerns.The Mental Health & Aging Program, embedded in a county-run nursing facility, is a team of individuals providing behavioral interventions to residents with severe mental illness. Our newest program, THRIVE, is our jail diversion program, providing support to individuals either being released from jail or working with them to avoid re-entry into the system.
