Hamilton Associates, Inc.
Hamilton Associates is a family-owned portfolio comprised of three manufacturing and industrial companies with global reach and impact. These companies include: Elevator Safety Company, Inc. (ELSCO), Air Techniques International (ATI), and Dirt Killer Inc. We are proud to produce and support enduring products for critical applications that make a real difference in the world. From the employees who make our products to the end users who benefit from them, and the many stakeholders in between, we help people live their best lives.
Our open, Lean culture supports and reflects that purpose. We foster a team environment where the best ideas - rooted in fact-based, data-driven understanding - win.
We believe that this is the best way to keep our promises to our employees, customers, shareholders, business partners, and the communities we are a part of.

Purpose
Our stated core purpose is to improve the world through responsible manufacturing. Although our three businesses look very different, we all share a common cultural DNA. We think of our culture as healthy soil from which many great things can grow, thrive, and prosper – from unique people and their careers, to winning products and services, to positive business outcomes. If the soil is right, the garden will bear fruit – even though each of our companies is growing a different kind of crop.
Vision
We achieve this by building a great business that succeeds as a matter of Process and Culture. Across the three companies and our respective industry groups, we believe that our core competencies in building great, repeatable, continuously improving processes across a number of defined skill sets, exemplified and knit together by people who are united in a common cultural basis, will ensure our continued growth and financial stability no matter what market or economic conditions we encounter.
Mission
Our commitment to Process finds its roots in our commitment to Lean manufacturing, where standard work in defined processes creates repeatability, reliability, trainability, and a basis for continuous improvement. Balancing this Process commitment so that it does not become overly burdensome is a Culture of empowerment, engagement, commitment, transparency, and frank communication, such that process owners are empowered and expected to drive changes for the better.
Additional Culture Details
We believe that if our employees are living their best lives, they will in turn be more effective and engaged in their jobs with us! We want our environment to be warm, congenial, inclusive, and fun! It has roots in our background as a family-held business but is largely a product of the many unique and talented individuals we are fortunate to have here and the community they have created. Our people respect each other and their contributions. Ownership and management are active, engaged, and transparent. Our employee-led Wellness Committee plans a full calendar of activities: from monthly wellness lunch and learns, lunch time cookouts and tailgates, and our annual chili cookoff, to book and movie clubs, cornhole tournaments, and paid time off for community service activities. The culture varies somewhat from company to company, department to department, but we believe it creates the kind of place our employees can comfortably call their professional home.
