Dr. Albert H. Halff started a one-man consulting firm, known today as Halff Associates, in 1950 in Dallas, Texas. Halff has become one of the largest interdisciplinary engineering/architecture firms in the Southwest, ranking No. 121 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms in the United States.
Today, the employee-owned firm boasts a diverse professional staff of more than 900 employees across 22 unique offices in Texas (12), Florida (6), Arkansas (2), Louisiana (1) and Oklahoma (1). We are an integrated provider of full-service planning, engineering, architecture, environmental, planning, landscape architecture, right of way, surveying, construction engineering and inspection, and information technology services for public- and private-sector clients in the government, corporate, land development, education, oil and gas, and transportation markets.
