Our mission statement is to Educate, Protect and Impact our Community
Purpose
EPIC FCU provides free financial literacy, budgeting, banking and credit repair counseling to the community free of charge. Innovative programs like our "Renew & Rebuild" Program that gives people who wouldn't normally qualify for a loan the monies needed to add-on, remodel or repair their home while also giving them the tools to repair their credit scores. And our Heroes Program gives affordable home buying loans to military, law enforcement, education, energy, healthcare and other professionals who serve our community every day. These are just two of the dozens of things we do that make EPIC FCU very different from other banks or credit unions.

We are here truly serving our community and our Members. We have helped so many people find the home, education, car, or funds they needed when others wouldn't or couldn't come to their aid.

Additional Culture Details
Our leadership team supports the efforts of our entire organization whenever those efforts are trying to help someone. We have helped gentlemen in shelters get an affordable automobile so they could get to their jobs in the New Orleans heat without relying on public transportation. We also had a member who was robbed while in Europe. We wired her the funds needed to complete her trip explaining that we would "sort it all out" once she was home. Banks aren't going to do that for their customers.
