Gold’s Gym opened its doors in Venice Beach, CA in 1965 and launched the modern fitness movement, bringing exercise and healthy living into the global consciousness. Today Gold’s Gym offers the most comprehensive, full-service fitness experience in the industry with top-of-the-line weight and strength training equipment, modern cardio equipment, world class personal training and dynamic group exercise programs.
In 2004 the company was acquired by TRT Holdings and moved its headquarters to Dallas, TX.
