GLSS
Greater Lynn Senior Services—or “GLSS” as we are known throughout the region—is the nonprofit Aging Services Access Point and Area Agency on Aging serving people age 60 and older, adults of all ages living with disabilities, and their families and caregivers in Lynn, Lynnfield, Nahant, Saugus, and Swampscott, Massachusetts. For more than 45 years, GLSS has responded to the changing needs of area residents, providing a continuum of community health and social services to help people maintain their independence, safely and with dignity.
In carrying out its important mission, GLSS provides a broad range of programs, including:
• Information and referral
• Home care services
• Meals and nutrition programs
• Transportation/mobility assistance
• Housing supports
• Clinical and protective services
• Programs designed to promote consumer engagement and better health and well-being
• Innovative population health initiatives aimed at creating stronger, more livable communities for all

GLSS provides a multitude of services for a singular purpose: To help people of all ages living with disabilities remain independent, safely and with dignity.

GLSS envisions sustained community livability and healthy living for all, including older adults, people living with disabilities, and their caregivers.
Mission
GLSS is a non-profit organization dedicated to building healthy and more livable communities, where critical home and community-based services and supports are fully accessible to older adults, people living with disabilities, and their caregivers. As a social enterprise promoting consumer engagement, GLSS is driven by the principles of intentional design, harnessing innovation, sharing best practices, and expanding collaboration across the health and human services sector.
