Purpose
The Ghirardelli culture is to maintain a personal relationship with all of our Associates. We keep this mindset by hosting internal events, providing scholarship opportunities to Associates’ dependents, and recognizing Associates through awards and bonus programs.
Ghirardelli hosts multiple events throughout the year that are provided at no cost to the Associate. A majority of them include invitations to their family and friends to participate in the company celebrations. Our events include social hours, mixers, sporting events, celebrations (anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, retirements, project wins), and camping and hiking outings.
In addition, once a year Ghirardelli hosts an annual meeting in which every Associate (and guest) is brought to a retreat setting for training, safety refresher, personal development, and team building. The retreat includes employee recognition awards for merit, safety, and tenure. They are recognized and thanked for their services and presented awards by Randall Bruner, PE, President/CEO, and their supervisors.
