Genesis Medical Associates, Inc., is a physician-owned corporation established in 1995 that specializes in family practice and internal medicine. Genesis is recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home and is contracted with Medicare as an Accountable Care Organization. It serves the patient needs of the North Hills area of Pittsburgh from the City of Pittsburgh’s Troy Hill neighborhood to Cranberry Twp. It is a responsibility that our providers accept with both humility and dedication.
We currently have over 210 employees, including 18 physicians, 2 cardiologists, 2 chiropractors and 35 advanced practitioners to meet the needs of our patients. Genesis also manages a medicare certified independent laboratory. Our physicians see patients at various hospitals including UPMC Passavant and Allegheny General Hospital, where we have full time rounding mid-level providers to manage our patient’s care. Genesis physicians can be found serving as directors at various nursing home facilities, physicians for the Pittsburgh Pirates and local school districts, as well as holding board member positions on various hospital committees.
