We market some of the world’s best-loved brands, including Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Green Giant, Nature Valley, Fiber One, and Cheerios. On average, U.S. shoppers place at least one General Mills product into their shopping carts each time they visit the grocery store.
We operate in more than 100 countries on six continents, and about half of our 33,000 employees work outside the United States. Internationally, we market Häagen-Dazs, and other strong local brands, such as Latina pasta in Australia, Wanchai Ferry in China and Hong Kong, and La Salteña dough in Argentina.
In fiscal 2010, our global net sales were $16 billion (including our proportionate share of joint ventures).
