Additional Culture Details
Last year presented a tremendous number of unique challenges for individuals and organizations. Through it all, FTI Consulting made numerous advancements to care for its employees and the communities in which we do business. The firm helped organize and promote numerous internal giving and volunteering opportunities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic for employees to support both local and global organizations that were working to support frontline healthcare workers and provide aide to those most heavily affected, from making masks, to donating food, clothes and other supplies. One key COVID-19 relief effort conducted by FTI Consulting is the role the firm played in sourcing PPE items for healthcare workers in New York City. FTI Consulting was engaged by The City of New York to help source, vet and recommend qualified sources of supply for 10+ subcategories of PPE items. In addition, following the senseless killing of George Floyd and the outpouring of support to combat racial inequality in our society, FTI Consulting turbocharged its global Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (“DI&B”) initiatives by rolling out four new pillars to reflect the key actions the firm is taking to ensure that it continues to make progress and accelerate the pace of change:
1) Reinvigorate our efforts to support, promote and retain diverse talent
2) Double-down on efforts to attract diverse talent;
3) See how we might help the world more broadly; and
4) Keep the dialogue alive.
