Freshwater Education District is an Education Cooperative that serves 13 member school districts in midwest Minnesota. Freshwater Education District offers educational programs including Special Education, Alternative Learning Centers, Early Childhood Family Education, School Readiness, Adult Basic Education, and Career and Technical Education. Freshwater Education District is also the fiscal host of the Grow Your Own Grant and the Todd County Collaborative.
Purpose
We are an education district comprised of member school districts. Freshwater Education District is designed to encourage and implement cooperation between its 13 member school districts. Working cooperatively, all districts can benefit from programs and services that are difficult to financially support on their own.
Vision
To provide comprehensive services to member school districts by facilitating cooperation and coordination among its members, with post-secondary institutions, and with other organizations.
Mission
To increase and improve educational opportunities for all learners.
