Forty Carrots aims to empower families with the tools they need to ensure positive outcomes, both short-term and long-term, for children. Forty Carrots believes strongly that all families should have access to parenting education, mental health, and early childhood education, and strives to make appropriate services available for families from all walks of life. Forty Carrots’ staff travel throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties utilizing community partnerships to deliver critical information and support efficiently and conveniently. With 30 formal partner collaborations across 33 service locations, Forty Carrots’ specialized expertise fills a void for partnering agencies as they focus on their mission (such as a drug-free birth or secure and stable housing). Since 1993, Forty Carrots has served over 50,000 families through its parenting education, nationally accredited preschool, and mental health programming.
Purpose
• Prevent child abuse, neglect, and other childhood trauma;
• Ensure positive outcomes, both short-term and long-term, for the children; Build a community of capable, caring, and respectful young people;
• Provide parents/guardians with information, skills, and support to better equip them in the job of raising their children;
• Promote positive and productive relationships between parents/guardians and their children;
• Promote learning and development in each of the following areas: social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive.

Serving thousands of families from all walks of life, Forty Carrots staff are trained professionals offering the highest quality parenting, early childhood education, and mental health services.
