Flossmoor School District 161
School District 161 provides outstanding opportunities for children in grades kindergarten through 8th for students in the communities of Flossmoor, Chicago Heights, Homewood, Hazel Crest, and Olympia Fields. Students attend neighborhood schools for K-5. Parker Junior High has an outstanding relationship with H-F High School and students have an opportunity to take high school level courses while at Parker. Each school has a Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Math (STEAM) program. Additionally, social emotional learning takes center stage in D161 as we have fully implemented Capturing Kids' Hearts at all of our schools.
