With humble origins as a small family business in Central Ohio, we started 50 years ago with a simple vision. And we’ve most certainly grown. We are now in more than 40 locations throughout Southwest and Central Ohio, and we are only getting started. Five Star is Ohio’s fastest-growing home services company. We’re currently in the Columbus, Dayton & Cincinnati markets, with forecasted expansion into Cleveland, and Indianapolis in 2023. Today, our Five Star Family includes Five Star Heating & Cooling Group, Five Star Mechanical Solutions, Five Star Plumbing Group and Five Star Electrical Group.
Purpose
We believe in paying it forward, and that all-inclusive attitude of care and giving back resonates throughout our company’s ranks — from our call center and office staff all the way to our technicians in the field and presidential team. We work together of one accord to make the biggest impact in the world around us.
Vision
Our company started out more than 50 years ago as a small mom-and-pop shop located in Central Ohio. Our vision since then has been to provide homeowners with the best equipment and the best workmanship possible at the most affordable and competitive prices. Although we have grown tremendously over the years, that same initial vision has remained the same.
Mission
At Five Star, our mission is profit with purpose. This means the revenue we receive from our business goes directly back into the communities we serve. Giving back to the communities that serve us is arguably the most critical aspect of our culture. We provide opportunities for our employees to become the best versions of themselves.
Additional Culture Details
We funnel a portion of our profits into the Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative in Greene County and many other area nonprofits and unique causes. We help emancipate youth from the state’s foster care system (who typically fall between the cracks of society), homeless people, human trafficking victims, and people in recovery because we believe we are stewards of the many blessings we receive.
